“Untying the Judging Knot 解開評審結" (Part I)

Untying the Judging Knot
解開評審結
Luke 6:36-38

Judge not lest you be judged.
論斷人,免得你們被論斷。”
~ Part I

When was the last time someone said that to you? Maybe you're talking to someone about how homosexuality is a sin, and they say, "Judge not, lest you be judged." The abortion issue is similar. When Christians stand up for the rights of the unborn, we are told to show mercy on the pregnant mothers and "Judge not, lest you be judged." When a former president falls into an immoral relationship with one of his female interns, the Christians of the country loudly proclaim that such behavior is not right for anybody, much less someone in a position of public authority. Those who defend his actions say, "Judge not, lest you be judged."

How strange it is that the world loves to quote the Bible when it suits their purposes, but when it doesn't, they conveniently ignore it. When they quote such a verse at us, we think that since it is Scripture, it must mean what the world says it means, and so we refrain from judging others, without ever looking up the passage to see what it really says.            We will see what Christ means when He says "Judge not, lest you be judged." But before we do that, let see what the rest of the Bible says about judging. Many Christians are surprised to find out that there are scores of other verses teaching us that we are to judge.

Matthew 7:15-16 tells us how to tell if someone is a true of false teacher. Obviously, to do this, we must engage in judging. It is not unchristian to condemn someone as a false teacher, if they truly are. 1 John 4:1-2 similarly tells us to test the spirits, to discern the spirits to see which are from God and which are not. Again, this requires some sort of judging on our part. Paul, in 1 Corinthians 10:15, specifically commands his readers to judge for themselves if what he says is right or wrong, truth or error. He writes in Ephesians 5:11 to expose and condemn certain actions as being sinful. He further writes in Romans 16:17 to not associate with those members of the church who cause divisions and disruptions within the church. This can only be done by making a judgment.

Even Jesus, who made the statement "judge not, lest you be judged," praises Peter a few paragraphs later for making a correct judgment (Luke 7:42-43). Later, Jesus praises those who listen to him for their ability to judge others correctly (Luke 12:57). In John 7:24, Jesus actually commands us to judge others; not according to appearance, but with righteous judgment. He further outlines for us in Matthew 18 the steps a church must take in making right judgments on those within the church.

To be cont'd in Part II.

O God, Breathe New Life Into Us !

O God, Breathe New Life Into Us !

By W.C. Moore

A mighty revival in the midst of impossible surroundings and with the most unlikely material to work with – this is the picture given in the form of a parable in the thirty-seventh chapter of Ezekiel (vv. 1-14).

In Isaiah 55:8 God says, “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways”; “… God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty” (1 Cor. 1:27); “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18:27). All these facts are illustrated in Ezekiel's revival in a graveyard.

Men have a very important part to play in connection with the bringing in of a great spiritual awakening, but the awakening itself, the revival in its essence, is the work of God. “All ye shall know that I am the Lord, when l have opened your graves. O My people, and brought you up out of your graves (Ezekiel. 37:13)

The prophet is not told to imagine that conditions are not so bad after all. No! Ezekiel is set down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones. He was caused to pass by them round about. There were many bones in the open valley and they were very dry. The less likelihood there is for having a revival from the natural standpoint – so much the more glory shall come to the name of the Lord as He overrules all conditions and pours out His Spirit in life-giving, reviving power.

The Lord asks Ezekiel what he thinks about the situation: “Son of man, can these bones live?” The prophet kept his eyes on god and put the question up to Him: “O Lord God, thou knowest” (Ezekiel 37:3).  It was then that the mighty Spirit of God began to operate through the obedient servant. Ezekiel is told to prophesy upon the bones, and as he carries out his orders, there is a shaking, a uniting, a coming together of bone to his bone. Flesh and sinews were formed but as yet no breath was in them. Step by step the Almighty was getting things underway for this mighty revival in the nation of Israel.

Continuously must be the prophet look to the Lord for directions. Here Ezekiel has on his hands a great company of dead people – not looking quite so impossible as had the dry, scattered bones, but in effect just as useless, just as absolutely lifeless. The machinery of revival was here working but there was more, much more yet to be done.

God had set the prophet out there for a purpose. That purpose was that a revival should materialize. And so we find that when Ezekiel needed further orders, and he kept looking to God, the orders came: “Prophecy unto the wind, thus said the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live” (v.9)

The prophet obeyed this peculiar command – and the mighty awakening, the heaven-sent revival was on: “So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army” (Ezekiel 37:10). This was the revival among a nation who were saying, “Our hope is lost” (Ezekiel 37:11).

Believe and Obey

Do we sometimes fell that God has set us in a graveyard- in a valley of very dry bones? Well, that is the proper setting for a most glorious revival if we will believe and obey God. Jesus says distinctly, “According to your faith be it unto you” (Matthew 9:29). In a Philippian Christians jail at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God – and a revival started right there. The harder the situation, the more impossible the conditions from a human standpoint – so much the more need of revival.

Let us in these days believe God to send a mighty flood tide of resurrection power flooding into the church that from valleys of very dry bones, spiritually speaking, shall come forth armies of Christian soldiers, overcoming by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and winning sheaves to lay at the nail-pierced feet of Jesus, the blessed Son of God.

The time is short! Let us unite in faith that the Spirit of God shall be speedily out poured in revival power. “It is time to seek the Lord, till He come and rain righteousness upon you” (Hos. 10:12). Oh, for a mighty crying out to God day and night until He answers!

Jesus says, “And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily …. “ (Luke 18:7-8)

Godly women

Godly women

What a person wears and how they wear it reflect upon their devotion to the Lord and therefore the rule is to be modest. As Jesus stated in Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

A woman who dresses to draw attention to her is revealing that her heart is full of pride. Often women dress not only to impress the men, but also to impress other women. They dress to "show off" their beauty, clothes, figure with the intent to show them superior to other women. By their actions such women show their hearts are cold and they have no love or concern for the feelings of others.

We come to church to worship the Lord Sunday morning, Sunday night and at Bible Study. Our appearance in public or in church can honor God or dishonor Him by dishonoring ourselves. A godly woman will not bring attention to her own self, but dress and live to show her faith in the Lord. Christ is to have the preeminence in her life and that preeminence should stand out. Her love of the Lord will have the first place in her life and she will not do things that will destroy her testimony or send the wrong message about her relationship with the Lord. She dishonors herself or her husband by inappropriate behavior that is out of line with her God given role as a wife and Christian.

Women should ask themselves: "Does my clothing and my actions indicate an inward desire to worship God?" "Does it honor God?" "Does it stand out or is it inappropriate for the occasion?" "Does it reflect godliness or worldliness?" "Does it show that I love and respect my husband and am not interested in other men?"

No one who does not live what they profess has no influence or credibility with someone they are trying to win to the Lord. Actions speak louder than words. If a Christian lives like the world does and is not faithful to the Lord they, by their behavior, are telling people they are a hypocrite. They send the message that the Gospel is only something that is to be feigned. They are outwardly claiming to be something that clearly they are not. Their life style then does not present God's truth and the true life changing affect of the Gospel.

Proverbs 31 ~ A submissive wife = Above Ruby

A submissive wife is one who makes a choice not to resist her husband's will. That is not to say that she cannot disagree with him or that she cannot express an opinion. Indeed the submissive wife is, by definition, a strong woman and will usually therefore have her own opinions and these may often be different to the opinions of her husband. Can she express them? Of course she can, and indeed it might often be wrong for her not to express them since she is, after all, supposed to be her husband's helper, not his slave or doormat. Expressing her opinions and giving advice and suggestions will often be a valuable part of the help that she gives her husband.

Let us see how this works in life by using an analogy of a road for life and junctions in the road for each of life's decision points of choices. The married man and woman set off walking along the road of life and at each junction they choose which road to take next. Sooner or later they will arrive at a junction where they each desire to take a different road and hence there is a disagreement:

In the disharmonious family there is a quarrel, there is cajoling or bullying, there is intimidation and bitter words. The quarrel might last for the rest of their lives with neither giving ground and thus they never move on or, finally, either the husband and wife continue along one road together with one of them feeling resentful and both of them feeling bruised and wary of the other, or if they could not even obtain an unpleasant agreement then the marriage might simply fall apart and they separate, each taking a different road. None of these outcomes is pleasant or desirable.

When a submissive woman finds that her wishes conflict with those of her husband she has little or nothing to fear. If her husband is respectful then they will discuss the matter together agreeable, frankly and cheerfully and through the discussion they might reach either a compromise or one of them might change their mind completely and accept the other person's wishes. If this happens then they can then continue along the road they have now agreed upon with no sense of bitterness and without having expressed any angry words.

However agreement might not be reached so then what? If they cannot reach agreement then the submissive wife needs only to obey her husband and accept his wishes graciously. Having done this there are now only a few possible outcomes, all of which have positive aspects and none of which is particularly terrible. In the first possible outcome they will take the road the husband selects and, in due course they will discover that they have chosen a good route through life and both will be happy. In the second possible outcome they will take the road the husband selects but, in due course, they discover that it was not such a good choice after all.

All they do is turn around, go back to the junction and take a different road; there has been no need for argument, nobody has felt disrespected or belittled and they have not bruised one another. Although the husband's choice turned out to be a bad one, they have discovered the mistake together, discovered it quickly, and swiftly got back onto a better road and, in the process, they have strengthened their bond by having been able to disagree with dignity and mutual respect. They are not stuck in a perpetual argument at the junction, they have not separated and the process of finding a mutually acceptable road has not weakened their marriage.

If the submissive woman  has a husband who is not respectful and who is inclined to abuse her gift of submissive then still she has little to fear. The worst possible outcome is that they will travel a bad road together until the next junction. Although the road might be bad it is good to remember the positive aspects of the situation: They have still remained together, they have kept alive the possibility of improving their relationship as they make their way through the troubles of life, they have not wasted time and damaged one another in a bitter quarrel and they are not still standing at the junction locked in argument. They have moved on, and therefore given themselves the hope of another choice later. This, remember, is the worst possible outcome. Even with a selfish husband it is still possible that he will acknowledge that the road is bad and that they will turn back to take another route.

I have mentioned this example of a road journey to try and illustrate that submission can bring real and worthwhile benefits to a marriage. The scripture also indicates that the act of submission by a woman is able to influence a bad man to change his ways but even if he doesn't change, her choice of submission will still allow her to avoid the worst of the possible problems that a bad marriage and husband might bring.

May the Lord help and guide each and every Godly woman as mentioned at Proverbs 31~ with the wisdom to be a great helper, a  mighty woman at home and let their life shine for God's glory, In Jesus' mighty name , I prayed, AMEN.

At the Name of Jesus ......,

" Every Knee Will Bow, Every Tongue Confess
~ Isaiah 45:23 and Philippians 2:9-11 ~

MY mouth has uttered in all integrity
a word that will not be revoked:
Before ME every knee will bow;
by ME every tongue will swear.
It is these words that Paul picks up and applies to Jesus in Philippians 2:9-11:
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
The magnitude of what it will mean when every knee bows before Jesus
and every tongue confesses he is Lord ....
is conveyed further by the context of the root words in
Isaiah 45:23.
In 45:21 we read:
there is no God apart from me,
a righteous God and a Saviour;
there is none but me.
God continues:
Turn to me and be saved,
all you ends of the earth;
for I am God, and there is no other.
When that great day comes every person on the face of the earth will acknowledge that Jesus,
being Lord, being YAHWEH,
is the only true and living God,
and the only one who can save people from the terrible predicament in which we find ourselves.
In Isaiah 45:24, looking forward to that time, God says,
They will say of me, In the Lord alone are righteousness and strength.
All who have raged against him
will come to him and be put to shame.
But in the LORD all the descendants of Israel will be found righteous and will exult.
On the Day of Judgment every person will recognize
that Jesus is the sole source of righteousness and strength.
For many this will be a humiliating admission,
for they have spent their lives raging against HIM,
however well concealed that anger may be in the deceptive
and dark depths of the corrupted human heart.
Many will bow the knee in terror and confess Jesus as Lord with trembling lips,
realizing it is all too late to put things right.
Yet there will also be many,
deemed true descendants of Israel by virtue of their Abrahamic faith
(see Romans 4), who will be found righteous and exult.
Indeed, in Philippians 3:8-9,
Paul develops even further the perspective of Isaiah 45:24:
What is more,
I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord,
for whose sake I have lost all things.
I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him,
not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law,
but that which is through faith in Christ -
the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.
May you come to know Jesus as the greatest person in the entire universe,
the only true God, the only Saviour,
the only source of righteousness and strength.
Whether we will one day be put to shame or
rejoice hinges upon how we respond to Jesus

PROPHETIC ENCOURAGEMENT TO ME for 18th JANUARY 2012

Shalom to you in Yeshua's Matchless Name!!!

All praise and thanks to Almighty God for a truly great and wonderful time we have had last Saturday. For those of you who couldn't join us, we truly missed you, and King Yeshua missed you all very much too!!!

Attached is the PROPHETIC DECREES : WALKING AS YESHUA WALKED IN 2012 released on last Saturday.

This week I received a request from a dear brother in Penang asking about the benefits and importance of PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT. I would like to share my answer to him as TODAY'S PROPHETIC ENCOURAGEMENT TO YOU! I believe that you'll be greatly enlightened and motivated to PRAY MORE IN THE SPIRIT.

Praying in the Spirit is indeed very very powerful, provided we are PRAYING IN THE SPONTANEOUS FLOW OF THE SPIRIT - NOT IN STALE TONGUES!!! THERE ARE DIVERSITIES OF TONGUES - TONGUES OF EARTHLY LANGUAGES AND ANGELIC LANGUAGES - AND THESE LANGUAGES CAN GROW AND DEVELOP AS OUR SPIRIT-MAN INCREASES IN STATURE, STRENGTH AND STAMINA!

Praying in the Spirit comprises of two kinds : i) PRAYING IN TONGUES ii) PRAYING IN UNDERSTANDING (ACCORDING TO THE MIND OF CHRIST, NOT ACCORDING TO OUR CARNAL MIND). Many believers are STUCK AND BECOME STAGNANT IN THEIR SPIRITUAL LIFE BECAUSE OF MUCH PRAYERS RELEASED OUT OF THEIR CARNAL MINDS!!! TO THINK CARNALLY IS DEATH - TO RELEASE PRAYERS OUT OF THESE CARNAL MINDS IS A DOUBLE DEATH - YOU RELEASE MORE DEATH INTO YOUR SITUATIONS!!! PRAYING THE HOLY GHOST INSPIRED PRAYERS ACCORDING TO THE MIND OF CHRIST RELEASES THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE AND GLORY OF GOD INTO YOUR SITUATIONS!!! THIS WILL RESULT IN MIGHTY MIRACLES AND DIVINE INTERVENTIONS INTO YOUR LIFE!!! YOU CAN NEVER PRAY THESE KIND OF SUPERNATURAL PRAYER POINTS ALONE BECAUSE THE HOLY GHOST WILL ALWAYS JOIN OR GLUE HIMSELF TO YOU AS YOU PRAY HIS KIND OF PRAYERS!!!

When you PRAY IN THE SPIRIT (BOTH KINDS), ALL YOUR SPIRITUAL SENSES WILL BE FULLY ACTIVATED, THE RIVERS OF LIVING WATERS START FLOWING OUT OF YOUR INNERMOST BEING, AND THE GLORY OF GOD IN YOU START TO RISE UPON YOU! (John 7:37-39; Col.1:27)

If you PRAY ONE HOUR EVERY DAY, YOU CAN ONLY RECEIVE SPIRITUAL STRENGTH ENOUGH TO OVERCOME TEMPTATION - FOR PERSONAL VICTORY ONLY! (You are at ANKLE DEEP in the river of God)

If you PRAY ONE TO THREE HOURS EVERY DAY, YOU CAN RELEASE SUPERNATURAL BLESSINGS ENOUGH TO BLESS YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY - YOU, YOUR SPOUSE AND CHILDREN - ALL YOUR HOUSEHOLD NEEDS WILL BE FULLY MET - YOU'LL NEVER EXPERIENCE FINANCIAL LACK OR EMBARRASSMENT AGAIN - but you are only at KNEE DEEP in the river of God! You are still in control of your situation and you can still get out of the river anytime you like!!!

If you PRAY THREE TO FIVE HOURS EVERY DAY, YOU BEGIN TO BE A BLESSING TO YOUR COMMUNITY - YOUR EXTENDED FAMILY, YOUR NEIGHBORS, COLLEAGUES AND FRIENDS WILL SHARE IN YOUR BLESSINGS - you are now at the WAIST LEVEL in the river of God! You are still very much in control of your situation - you can get out of it anytime you like!!!

If you PRAY MORE THAN FIVE HOURS, YOU'LL BE A BLESSING TO THE NATION AND THIS GENERATION - you are at THE DEEP - WATERS TOO GREAT TO WALK IN, BUT ONLY TO SWIM IN, YOU NO LONGER ARE IN CONTROL, BUT THE HOLY GHOST NOW FULLY POSSESSED YOU AND CAN CARRY YOU WHEREVER HE WANTS YOU TO BE AND DO!!! THIS IS WHAT WE MEAN BY TOTAL SURRENDER AND YIELDING TO THE SPIRIT OF GOD!!! THIS IS WHERE THE REAL THING IS - UNUSUAL ENCOUNTERS WITH GOD, MANIFESTATIONS OF THE GLORY OF GOD, AWESOME MIRACLES, BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS, BREAKTHROUGH REVIVALS, ANGELIC VISITATIONS, OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE, etc.

With this understanding, I hope that you'll be stirred TO AVAIL YOURSELF FULLY - WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION TO THE HOLY GHOST - THAT YOU MAY OBEY THE COMMAND OF THE LORD TO PETER - LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP AND LET DOWN YOUR NET FOR A CATCH - ABUNDANCE OF CATCH, NET-BREAKING, BOAT-SINKING KINDS OF HARVEST MIRACLE!!! IT'S ALL IN THE DEEP!!!!

THAT'S WHERE WE HAVE BEEN ORDAINED TO LIVE - IN THE DEPTHS OF GOD!!! THAT'S WHERE EVERY PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED, EVERY REQUEST OF YOUR LIPS GRANTED, EVERY DESIRE OF YOUR HEART FULFILLED! EVERY PROPHETIC PROMISE COME TO PASS! THAT'S WHERE WE'LL LIVE, MOVE AND HAVE OUR TRUE BEING IN GOD! THAT'S WHERE WE'LL LIVE IN THE UNLIMITED RESOURCES OF ALMIGHTY GOD!!! THAT'S WHERE WE CEASE TO STRUGGLE, STRIVE, SWEAT AND STUMBLE!!! THAT'S WHERE WE'LL SAIL SMOOTHLY IN THE RIVER OF GOD AND SOAR IN THE HEAVENLIES!!! THAT'S WHERE YOU EXPERIENCE LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY - TOTALLY FULFILLED, CONTENTED, SATISFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, PRAY IN THE SPIRIT FERVENTLY - WITH THE FRESH FIRE OF THE HOLY GHOST - WITH THE HOLY ZEAL OF THE LORD - ACCORDING TO THE PERFECT WILL OF GOD THAT IS IN THE MIND OF CHRIST - IN BOLD, FIERY TONGUES AND IN UNDERSTANDING (ALL THE PRAYER POINTS THAT I'VE EMAILED YOU THUS FAR ARE INSPIRED BY THE HOLY GHOST) - AND NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE UNTO YOU!!!!

I hope that you are encouraged by this PROPHETIC TEACHING TODAY!!!
I appreciate if you would give me your feedback on this article.
