一對腳印 Footprints

一天晚上，我夢見我沿著海灘散步與主。

             從我的生活中的許多場景的天空劃過。

                  在每個場景中，我注意到，在沙灘上的腳印。

                       有時有兩對腳印，

                           其他時間有一對腳印。

                                  這困擾著我，因為我注意到

                                在低期間我的生活，

                             當我

痛苦,

                         悲傷或失敗，

                     我看到只有一對腳印 ......

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
             Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
                  In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
                       Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
                           other times there were one set of footprints.

                                  This bothered me because I noticed
                                that during the low periods of my life,
                             when I was suffering from
                         anguish, sorrow or defeat,
                     I could see only one set of footprints ......

所以，我對主說，
      “你答應過,我的主，
         如果我跟著你，
             你總是會跟我走。
                 但是，
                   我注意到，
                          

在我生命中最艱難的時期,

                            有只有一個

                                設置在沙灘上的腳印。

                                      為什麼，當我最需要你，

                                          你有沒有在那裡等我嗎？“

                                 主回答說，
                              "當你

                           只看到一對腳印

                        的時候,

的主 ~ 

我背著你.

So I said to the Lord,

      "You promised me Lord,
         that if I followed you,
             you would walk with me always.
                   But I have noticed that during
                          the most trying periods of my life
                                 there have only been one
                                       set of footprints in the sand.
                                           Why, when I needed you most,
                                          you have not been there for me?"

                                 The Lord replied,
                          "The times when you have
                  seen only one set of footprints,
          is when I carried you."
